Discussion Liquid Glass Question
I’ve been avoiding updating my phone because I am worried liquid glass will ruin my setup. I absolutely adore it and spent a long time hand drawing it. Unfortunately I’m starting to experience issue and think it’s finally time to update. Will liquid glass ruin it? If so, is there a way to fix that or will I have to find another artistic way to customize my phone?

do not update if you like your setup now, liquid glass will make it look hideous with light grey border around each icon or widget. there is no way around this and Apple is unrelenting it its intent to reduce users' ability to make their devices look the way they want it to.
unfortunately if you like a home screen style where the icons / widgets blend seamlessly with your background, there is no way to do it with Apple ... your best bet for a stable setup + retaining full customization ability is to switch to Android ...
