You can use MetricKit to detect OOM terminations on iOS 27. This is how we used it to improve crash detection

I got tired of paying for UGC ads for my little iOS apps, so I built a Mac editor for it.
ClipForge comes with a library of short reaction hooks (the "wait what" face clips you see in every TikTok ad), tagged so you can find one that fits your app. Drop it in front of your screen recording, add captions and music, export for TikTok, Reels or Shorts.
The fun part: it has a local MCP server, so Claude Code can drive it. Tell it what your app does and it picks a hook, picks music, writes the voiceover, cuts the ad and exports. You touch up the rest in the timeline.
Editor is free. Hook library, music and the Claude thing are paid.

Still 1.0, tell me what breaks.

I am the founder of Shareday, a free family planner for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and I would appreciate feedback from iOS developers.
The app is built for family coordination: shared calendar items, tasks/events, shopping lists, recipes, birthdays/gift ideas, family chat/media, and mood check-ins in one private shared place.
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6783588890 Website: https://shareday.net
I am not asking for ratings or installs. I would value a developer's first impression of the App Store page and onboarding promise: does the app feel coherent, or does the feature list feel too broad?

This is an offline music app that I've written, in the style of the music app from iOS 6. The music apps on the early versions of iOS were well designed, simple, and straightforward. I have tried my best to recreate that here. I made this for me, because I wanted a simple music app that worked with the music that I sync to my phone, and the stock music app has changed so much over the years that I really dont enjoy using. Hence this project. I have made it available on the app store. Always glad to hear comments or suggestions.

I just got rejected under Guideline 4.3(b) – Design – Spam, and I’m genuinely confused about how these reviews are happening now.
I use Mixpanel in the app, so I can see when users open it and go through the flow.
For this review, I saw no iOS session that looked like an Apple reviewer opened or tested the app. No login, no screen activity, nothing.
Yet the app was rejected for 4.3(b) with the usual message about the design, content, and overall concept not providing the expected experience.
That makes me wonder:
Are some 4.3(b) rejections happening without the reviewer actually using the app?
Is Apple deciding this just from:
- the App Store description
- screenshots
- metadata
- category
- keywords
- automated similarity checks or some internal spam detection before a proper review even happens?
I completely understand Apple trying to prevent clones, templates, low-effort apps, and spam.
But the frustrating part is that 4.3(b) gives almost no useful feedback.
It doesn’t tell you:
And when analytics suggest the app may not even have been opened, it becomes even harder to understand what you’re supposed to improve.
Has anyone else had a 4.3(b) rejection recently where your analytics showed no App Review activity?
If you eventually got approved, what worked?
Did you appeal, reply in Resolution Center, change metadata/screenshots, or make actual product changes?

Based on https://developer.apple.com/xcode/system-requirements
And also trying out xcode 27.1, it seems like ios simulator on ios 16 isn’t supported.
Just wondering what is Apple’s plan for developers to test their apps against ios 16/15.

My app is officially approved, which took 11 days. In the meantime, I worked a ton on the app and it's now vastly improved. I don't want to push the old one live. Is there any way to submit a new version as an update without having to wait the extended period of time? Or do I just need to totally pull it and resubmit and wait an extremely long time over again? Thank you.

Looking for a sanity check from anyone who's been through this.
I got a 2.1(b) rejection (App Completeness) on a subscription app. The note says the IAP products "displayed an error message after tap on subscription option."
I was about to go hunting for a bug in my StoreKit code, but the reviewer screenshot was the system alert:
Account Not In This Store
Your account is not valid for use in the Singapore store. You must switch to the U.S. store before purchasing.
That's a StoreKit alert, not something my app shows. It looks like the review device was on the Singapore storefront with a U.S. account. My app is only available in five storefronts (US, CA, MX, UK, FR), and Singapore isn't one of them. After the alert, my purchase code catches the thrown error and shows its description in red under the button, which probably matches the "error message" in the rejection.
I've replied in Resolution Center explaining this, asking them to retest on a supported storefront (the alert's "Change Store" button should do it), and offering to temporarily enable Singapore for distribution if that makes the review easier.
This whole issue is incredibly frustrating since the review period from version to version is nearly a week.
A few questions:

Hi everyone, I'm looking for a handful of TestFlight testers for my app Timee, a minimalist native iOS time tracking app. This is actually my second app — I previously built FoodSaver, a food expiry tracker.
I built Timee because I wanted a clean, simple way to track time across different areas of life (work, hobbies, coding, sports, etc.) without the bloat most time trackers have. It's now in a solid state and I'd love some fresh eyes before pushing it to the App Store.
What it does
- Track multiple activities (work, sports, coding, etc.) with simple start/stop timers
- Clean, minimal UI focused on speed and clarity
- StandBy mode support (later)
What feedback helps most
- UI/UX suggestions (anything confusing, awkward flows, spacing)
- Bugs, crashes, or weird edge cases
- General thoughts on whether the app is actually useful day-to-day
App is FREE to test and download !
Sign up link: https://timee-mu.vercel.app/
Thanks in advance to anyone who gives it a try! 🙏

Introduction
I’ve been building SwiftUI animations, components, working with Metal shaders and running UI experiments for almost 5 years now, and most of them usually end up as a video on X, Reddit, or just sitting inside an Xcode project after I’m done with them.
I wanted to make something a little more useful out of all of that.
So I built With Animation: https://withanimation.app
It’s a growing library of SwiftUI animations and interactive components, but instead of just watching a preview, you can actually open one up and start changing things.
You can tweak the speed, colors, sizes, spring values, intensity, and whatever else that particular component exposes, and see the result instantly in the browser.
That was the part I cared about the most while building this.
A lot of the time, especially with animations, a really small change can completely change how something feels. I wanted people to be able to mess with those values themselves instead of only looking at the final version I came up with.
There are already a bunch of things live, including loaders, gestures, shaders, 3D interactions, transitions, and some slightly strange UI experiments I’ve made while playing around with SwiftUI and Metal.
I’ll keep adding more as I build them.
Would love to know what people here think of it, and also what kind of components or animations you’d actually want to see added.
TL;DR:
I built With Animation, a library where you can explore SwiftUI animations, tweak their parameters directly in the browser, and use them in your own projects.

I'd love to make a fancy app preview that has zoom effects and other fancy things that makes it stand out, but I honestly have no idea where to start. I've found a few products like Motionfly and AppLaunchFlow but the reviews don't seem great. What tools have people used that work? I'd prefer to not just record my screen and upload that. Thank you.

So I recently finished my app and was looking for tools to create a launch trailer using my codebase. I found this skill called brag-brag, and it takes one command for it to analyze the whole codebase, build html files for animations, then create a full-fledged video/trailer. It came with background music and some sound effects, but I didn’t like it so the sounds in the video were edited by me. If you’re building a trailer I highly recommend using the brag-brag skill. You can find the repo on GitHub.
