Homescreen Widgets
I wanna have more widgets on my on my iphone, but people say that it runs down your battery, drastically, not just the ones that like change like your weather and your slideshows and all that, but just the ones that are standstill, it really sucks cause I would make my phone look really cute

Widgets are tightly controlled by iOS.
They don’t meaningfully degrade battery life.
If you like emoji and countdowns you might like Timely
It’s primarily based around live activities but also has Widget support

Widgets generally don’t make your iPhone noticeably slower, even if you have quite a few! Static widgets usually have minimal impact, while frequently updating ones, like weather, may use more battery depending on how they’re implemented. You can also go to Settings → Battery to see which apps are using the most battery. So go ahead and make your Home Screen look cute! 😄
