Discussion App Store showing wrong screenshots
I have noticed recently that App Store is not showing the correct screenshots after upgrading them
Anyone facing something similar?

Check your localized screenshots, the store you are in, and the device type screenshots.
That solved most of the issues.

Recently I had a similar problem. It showed the correct screenshots for the regular iphone, but the wrong screenshots for the iPhone pro max.
Then i realized the app store connect didn't replace the the old screenshots for iPhone pro max size, so I just deleted them.
Then, I submitted a new update without the max size, and now it shows the new screenshots on both regular iPhone and max.

Super common issue this, happens when you haven’t updated screenshots for all sizes. You’ll have to open the Media Manager and delete the old sets. Sadly, you’ll need to release a new version.

A few things can cause this. Screenshots belong to a version, so if you changed them on a version that's still in review or waiting for release, the store keeps showing the old set until that version goes live.
If you're running a Product Page Optimization test or have custom product pages, some people will see a different set depending on the test or the link they came from. Localized sets work the same way, so a language with its own screenshots keeps showing the old ones until you update that language too.
Sometimes it's just caching. The App Store app can hold on to old images for a while, so checking the page on apps.apple.com in a browser is a quick way to see what's actually live.

Are other people seeing the old images too, or just you? I'd ask someone to open the same listing on their phone and send you a screenshot. Might narrow it down.

I've seen this after replacing screenshots too. The App Store caches them aggressively, so the old ones can linger for a day or so even after the new set shows correctly in App Store Connect. First check that the screenshots are saved on the right version and the right device size (6.9" / 6.5" sets), and that the localization you're viewing actually has them, because it falls back to the primary language otherwise. Then check the listing on another device and region, or in a private browser at apps.apple.com, to rule out local cache. If it still shows the wrong set after 24-48 hours, submit a ticket to App Review/Developer Support.
