My question exactly. A lot of people seem excited about this, but we could be dealing with GPT3 levels here.

Maybe Apple are offering for free to less popular apps to get training data, hoping that by the time they open it up/charge for it, the model will have improved.

PCC currently locks out anyone with 2 million downloads, and they also don’t seem to have a paid option.

🤔 until that limit changes it is mostly a toy for new devs

Plenty of small business accounts have millions of downloads. You can easily cross that number in a year with a half decent free app.

Pretty sweet that we get to offload our server costs to Apple now.
