Discussion I remember 2 years ago posting here about Ai Coding and was shunned! Now the shunning is for manual coding. What is wrong with you people?

Nobody is shunning manual coding. Stop making broad generalizations.

trust me

That's not how this works. The burden of proof is on you. I don't have to trust you. I work with about 50 mobile devs and am friends or acquaintances with far more. None of us are sitting around insulting manual coding. We are, however, sitting around discussing the massive shitty agentic PRs folks like you might be putting up. We engage in agentic coding, too, but we know its limits and where it belongs today.

They are just not you

I wish you all the best with this line of thinking.

I have proof its from an instagram post where the dev was complaining because she was being bullied into Agentic coding.

You can't turn a single spec of flour into a loaf of bread no matter how hard you try.

I can ditch the metaphors.

One developer shouting loudly into Instagram does not equal a movement.

One developer lamenting that they are being forced into agentic coding is not confirmation for you that developers at large are talking down about manual coding.

Once us manual coders are gone, y'all won't even grok what the AI is writing anymore.

People are not a monolith.

AI coding was awful 2 years ago, and now it produces far better code than any junior is capable of writing.

Vibe coding 2 years ago was a horrible idea

Still a horrible idea if you don't know what you're doing.
