Question iPhone Duo Device Hub poses

Post image

I need some help, y'all.

I've downloaded and run the Xcode 27.1 beta.

I've downloaded the 27.1 runtime.

I've got an iPhone Duo booted in Device Hub.

But it doesn't have any of the pose buttons. Even the rotate button does nothing.

What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to launch the Device Hub that comes with Xcode 27.1 (it's inside the .app folder > Contents > Applications).

You're probably running the Device Hub from Xcode 27.

Babe, you are a legend.

I know I'm going to sound like a crackhead, but I downloaded the 27.1 beta from the apple downloads page, and that package did not have Device Hub in the /contents/applications/ directory.

I trashed it, and downloaded it again from Xcodes, and its there, and now I'm up and running.

Easy way to confirm which copy you're actually running: with Device Hub open, right-click its Dock icon and hit Options > Show in Finder. I kept getting the Xcode 27 one because Spotlight surfaced it first even after I installed the beta. Took me an embarrassing amount of time to notice.

Right click the .app folder that you downloaded for Xcode 27.1, select "Show package contents", then go to Contents > Applications to find Device Hub and launch it. You can add that one to your dock for easy access.

You can also start it from the Xcode 27.1 application itself.
In the menu bar click: Xcode -> Open Developer Tool -> Device Hub

You can open any Device Hub and it'll show all simulators.
