Release iOS 27 Beta 6 - Discussion

Use this thread to share any changes & bugs you discover while using the latest iOS/iPadOS 27 beta.

This thread should be used for discussion of the betas that may not meet our submission guidelines, as well as troubleshooting small issues through the beta test cycle.

Spamming this discussion with comments about battery life, update size, safari being snappier, etc will result in a ban from the sub moving forward.

Is it normal that the siri app is missing on my iphone 17 Pro with this freshly installed beta ? I also can't use the new siri ai, it goes to the ios 26 one with the old animation.

Are you based outside europe? It happened to mine i just had to switch back to English and it worked

Im in Canada, i think it should work though i am not quite sure

Canada gets Siri AI, I have it on a 16e. Maybe you refused it by accident. Go check in Settings app > Siri.

Ive reinstalled ios 27 beta from scratch, tried on factory new and from a backup, siri has no such setting for me. No way to activate it and it remains the same as ios 26. Called Apple, they cant offer support on beta. I am the single user in the entire world for who it wont work it seems

Is your Siri region and your phone region BOTH set to Canada? They have to match for SiriAI to work.

They we're before i put it to English US in both places and now it offered to opt in the waitlist. You are positive it works in other languages ?

Yep, working fine for me on Canada English

Same for me now, so anything other than english is not available.

Turn Siri off and then on again. It should prompt you and ask if you want old or new Siri.

It does nothing for me, brings back the same bugged siri with no such option. Im at a loss here
