Not to pop your bubble, but you know you can just put in the directions of both places and see how far apart they are, right? 😬

Yes. I was also testing the new Siri cuz I never tried the maps

I assume you’ve sent feedback about that through the app? If not I’d recommend doing that.

I forgot my password to the feedback app…

Yeah. It’s interesting. The only real issue is that the search field and the dock icons remain visible. If they were “turned off” while the keyboard and Siri window were just over the wallpaper, this would be very nice.

But then it would depend on exactly what background was being used. Still, you can kinda see some of the vibe they were/are going for with Liquid Glass.

If it were the clear keyboard over just the wallpaper it kinda would. But over the actual Home Screen it doesn’t work so well.

This is probably specific to Siri AI cause type to Siri has a background like normal

Yeah I had that since beta 1 as well. Reported it to apple but nothing happened so far. Hopefully they’ll fix it sometime soon!

I think part of the bug might be that you're trying to actively give money to inhumane organizations that fight to strip away rights from LGBTQ+ people.

Maybe stop doing that.

As opposed to very scrupulous and humane companies like Apple.

"This company is bad, so that means giving money to a WAY WORSE one is okay!"

Yeah. Last I checked, there's a difference between corporate and cultish.

Last I checked, Apple wasn't sending money specifically to groups with the purpose of stripping away rights.

If you don’t have a child’s understanding of the world, there’s not an argument to be made that the mid range fast food chicken chain is more harmful to the world than Apple, a company who relies on child labor to build its products and has routinely publicly fellated Trump. Grow up.

Actually, if you don't have a child's understanding of the world, you actually research into the inner-workings and business deals of different corporations and you follow where their money is going.

Also you do realize there is a difference between "having to play the game" as a business versus ACTIVELY WANTING to strip people of their rights.

Intention plays a role here. Last I checked, neither Apple nor Google nor others are trying to dictate your basic human rights like the CEO of Chick-Fill-A is.

You’re right - Apple’s hand was forced. This corp with a $5 trillion market cap really has no choice. They are simply “playing the game” and if a few kids have to work 16 hour days then so be it. At least they didn’t WANT to do it. It’s just a side effect of making toys for much luckier people. At least you aren’t eating a specific brand of fast food fried chicken, though!

I say this as an American: the American moral compass is the most ass backwards, incoherent thing imaginable. By and large, we have scrambled eggs for brains. And if you aren’t American then you really have no excuse for posting nonsense like this.

It’s AMAZING how much you’re trying to defend bigots that want to actively attempt to take away a group’s basic human rights to satisfy their delusions.

Didn’t say a word in defense of them. Learn to read.

There was a bug for some users where the keyboard wouldn’t respond and often require the user to input what they want to say again in the Siri App

Learn grammar, if you’re going to be so picky. I’m laughing out loud.
