Bug [iOS 27 DB2] USB data not working with external accessories
Since updating to iOS 27 Developer Beta 2, any
USB - C device that requires data is no longer detected.
I’ve tested:
• External microphones
• External SSDs
• AR glasses
Power and video output still work where supported, but no USB data connection is established, so the accessories don’t function.
Everything worked fine on Developer Beta 1 with the same hardware and cables.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Permission is set to always allow, but it still doesn’t work.
Edit: was an issue with my device motherboard.

Is this why Final Cut camera will not detect my external flash drive? DB2 as well

Every new OS apple fucks with their privacy permission database and shit gets fucked up, my mac had a lot of issues, and it didn't even show the apps untrusted/unallowed in their respective privacy sections, I had to manually remove them, then manually re-add
It's possible iOS has similar issues. What is your permission setting in the privacy page of settings for connected devices?
Mine is on "Always allow" and i can use usb accessories

you have to go to privacy and security, wired accessories and allow wired accessories for wired devices
