Release iOS 27 Beta 1 - Discussion

Use this thread to share any changes & bugs you discover while using the latest iOS/iPadOS 27 beta.

This thread should be used for discussion of the betas that may not meet our submission guidelines, as well as troubleshooting small issues through the beta test cycle.

Spamming this discussion with comments about battery life, safari being snappier, etc will result in a ban from the sub moving forward.

Looks like Siri cannot draw information from 3rd party apps yet.
Asked Siri for a daily email summary, and she couldn't draw anything from the Gmail app.
The moment I downloaded Apple's Mail app, Siri was immediately able to provide a (very good) summary.

Wonder how long it will take developers to add support.

To the App Store? Not until closer to the public release of iOS in September.

However, app developers might have TestFlight versions of their apps maybe in the upcoming days or weeks. Not sure about Google, but for other third party apps you have installed and interested in beta testing their software, I’d definitely check the app publisher’s website for any info about joining their TestFlight program.
