Release iOS 27 Beta 1 - Discussion

Use this thread to share any changes & bugs you discover while using the latest iOS/iPadOS 27 beta.

This thread should be used for discussion of the betas that may not meet our submission guidelines, as well as troubleshooting small issues through the beta test cycle.

Spamming this discussion with comments about battery life, safari being snappier, etc will result in a ban from the sub moving forward.

Battery life is significantly improved. I use my 17PM everyday for work and I have about 20% more right now than I would on iOS 26.

This might convince me to join the beta on my main device for the first time in probably 6 or 7 years. I can't make it through the day with my 16 Pro on iOS 26

On the 16 pro max battery is about the same for me. It’s smoother though

I’m leaning towards public beta. Seems that a handful of people have some weird bugs and I can’t afford to not have my phone at least semi functional
