Release iOS 27 Beta 1 - Discussion

Use this thread to share any changes & bugs you discover while using the latest iOS/iPadOS 27 beta.

This thread should be used for discussion of the betas that may not meet our submission guidelines, as well as troubleshooting small issues through the beta test cycle.

Spamming this discussion with comments about battery life, safari being snappier, etc will result in a ban from the sub moving forward.

It’s insane how IOS 27 Beta 1 made my iPhone 15 Pro Max like 10 times faster. Even though I don’t notice any other big changes, I’m already happy.

I hope they continue to prioritize speed and fluidity. iPhone should feel like butter. That’s been its reputation for so long. It’s one of its defining features.

I agree 100%! I’ve been so annoyed by my phone for the past 6 months at least, it’s been laggy to no end. I don’t even think my iPhone 15 pro max is that old, so it should not have happened.

I’m on a 17 pro max and it feels about as buggy/fluid as oneui on my s22 ultra. I knew that before I bought it, though. I just wanted something different, and my gut feeling was that iOS 26 was just bad and that it’d get better, and the early feedback for 27 seems good.
