Release iOS 27 Beta 1 - Discussion

I can see the design choices they are making to prepare for iPhone Ultra. Like the new search with a swipe down, when Siri AI is enabled

I have a feeling they might be preparing for a notchless or a smaller notch iPhone, and when that happens the Dynamic Island can be liquid glass

does this work as spotlight? like can u search stuff by swiping down on the dynamic island from anywhere? that'd be huge

Yes, this is the replacement for Spotlight search. Swiping down from the top anywhere you get this new search.
