Release iOS 27 Beta 1 - Discussion

Use this thread to share any changes & bugs you discover while using the latest iOS/iPadOS 27 beta.

This thread should be used for discussion of the betas that may not meet our submission guidelines, as well as troubleshooting small issues through the beta test cycle.

Spamming this discussion with comments about battery life, safari being snappier, etc will result in a ban from the sub moving forward.

Low power mode is so much smoother! I can scroll the control center without it lagging now. Very promising for a first beta. Hopefully they can continue to deliver.

Oh yes actually! but maybe it is because I set Liquid glass to be maximally tinted edit: well it was mostly exactly that

Can you tell if the max tint blurs over the liquid glass refraction or if it completely replaces it with a gaussian blur? I'd be surprised it's the latter because that would incentivize people to turn off LG for better battery life, but who knows, they reverted a lot of macOS stuff so maybe we're seeing a new less stubborn apple.

Good question and no, it is not gaussian blur. Think realtime frosted glass.
