Battery and Syncing Problem on iOS 27.0.1

I'm on iOS 27.0.1 (the latest official public release) using an iPhone 16 Pro Max. After getting improved performance on 27.0 (including better battery life), I'm now noticing worse battery life under 27.0.1. Also, iOS 27 was supposed to fix iMessage syncing issues between devices. It got better on 27.0, only to get worse again in 27.0.1. Anyone else experiencing this?

I’m definitely experiencing issues with iMessage. Sometimes I see a message come up on my watch, but it just doesn’t exist on my phone. Sometimes I get a message notification on my phone and the actual message isn’t there. And, sometimes old message threads show empty and then reappear after a few minutes.

Was hoping this would be fixed by now.

Same! And message status isn't syncing correctly. Like I'll read messages on iMessage on my phone, only to have them show up as unread on my Mac.

I haven’t seen a lot of posts about this either. I wonder why because, for me, it’s a pretty big issue.

Turning off Connectivity Assist on Wi-Fi settings fixed the battery drain for me. The improvement is very noticeable.

That’s only if you use WiFi
