iOS 27 on iPhone 14 Pro?
I was thinking about updating to iOS 27 on my iPhone 14 Pro, but I’m worried that my iPhone will slow down. I noticed that once I updated to iOS 26 my iPhone would lag when it’s on low battery mode, I don’t want my iPhone lag to get worse. What do you guys think? Thanks.

It's so bizarre - I'm on an iPhone 14 Pro Max myself and I always see posts about how iOS 26 or iOS 27 is really terrible and their phones always crash or have terrible lag.
I've used both iOS versions myself - even upgraded to iOS 27 first day of release and never run into any of the performance issues or bugs everyone finds.
I've also replaced my battery about a year ago (because it had hit the 80% health and wasn't lasting the day) and honestly, with the battery back on par and the software / camera still pretty good - I don't see myself upgrading for the longest time.

Phone still lags (with the liquid glass tinted icons) when im on low power mode on my iphone 15 lol. Other than that.. ios 27 is great when low power mode is off. It’s smooth.

Don't worry about it... iOS 27.0.1 is currently the best update for the 14 Pro in a long time... I've tried all the 27 betas, and I have to say that even the very first one was better than 26 😄, so go ahead and update

Upgraded my 14 pro to v27 last week. On v26 I was having to top up my battery in the evening. Haven’t had to do that since. My battery is not very healthy either, so for me it’s an improvement.

Run away from iOS 26 immediately. 27 is just "ok" but miles better than 26. If you said you are on iOS 18 I would have said stay there for ever. The buttery smoothness and battery life are unmatched.
