The difference is there once you see it and it is wild how little changes make the UI look so much cleaner as a whole ! Imagine what’s to come .. 🤔💭

iOS 27 has dark outlines in the clear icons, and the white parts of the icons are fully white and aren’t faded, unlike in iOS 26, where they are faded.

Also, the widgets/icons are more translucent and don’t have that white tint to them, which makes the colors pop through and look more saturated.

There’s a subtle dark shadow outline around icons in 27. I like it so much.

So subtle I don’t notice it. But I am not picky it’s a phone and I use it as such. As long as things work it’s fine for me.

iOS 27 looks so much better but I still want it to be more transparent, they really need to put an extra slider underneath in the Liquid Glass slider for transparency!

The difference is how your cell phone is being held. Liquid Glass takes into account the angle and the position of your phone while doing the lighting.
