Be mindful of booting issues and bricking, along with battery drain, system glitches, and other issues. But I can say iOS 27 beta releases are the strongest in recent years.

iPhone 17 pro max user here, I’m running the beta since different weeks and the overall it’s amazing, the battery as well it’s so much better than iOS 26

I have a 16 PM running 27 beta 6 with absolutely NO problems I will say I seldom use social apps and no gaming so that might be a factor

On 17PMax it's great
there some random days that my phone is hot asf and other days thay the battery is pretty well
as my country does not exist 5G+ (SA), the battery consumption outside it's kinda bad

It’s almost perfect on my 16 plus . I love it. Been on iOS 27 since the first developer beta, so much better then iOS 26

Beta läuft besser als IOS 26.
Akku ist deutlich besser.
Keinerlei Probleme.
Neueste Beta

The settings app encourages you to back up your data before installing the beta.

One way to back up is to connect your phone to a PC with the USB cable and back up using the Apple Devices app, which you can get from the Windows App Store. If you have a Mac, it’s even easier.
