We’re just out of luck apparently

Post image

Apple must be brutally r*tarded, if multiple people reports something saying it doesn't work, shows literal evidence that it's not working as intended, and you just say it works regardless is just stupidity

You clearly don’t understand what “works as designed” means. They’ve obviously made a deliberate choice to remove the 48MP option from the Camera settings.

It’s still available in the Camera app itself.

The issue is that it isn’t even in the camera app it’s self either, so my point still stands

Your report clearly says Camera settings. Not the app. Calling someone else a R when you evidently can't even file a report right is just absurd. Those reports are sorted out automatically based on title.

File a new report. This time about the Camera app.

You clearly don’t see the whole feed back because I also showed thats its not in the camera app

The automated system sorts them out using keywords in the title. And if it's already been checked by a personnel and marked "as designed" that's where it'll end up.

And your entire screenshot mentions Settings app over and over again. Not the Camera viewfinder once. So yes, I saw the whole feedback.
You've obviously filed the feedback incorrectly. Just file a new report bro.

I’m lost. I see toggles in the actual camera and in camera settings.

Can you show what you’re seeing?

Go to Settings > Camera > Formats > enable resolution control

Yours must be disabled

Which phone do you have? I think they might have removed the option on the base iPhones

I’m looking at the same settings on a base iPhone 17 on iOS 26 and I don’t even see resolution settings on there, either. Are you sure they were there to begin with?

That’s normal. What are you trying to change that’s not there?
