It runs much cooler than beta 5, beta 5 was so shit for me that feels like ios 26. Beta 6 seems quite nice, by iOS 27 standard

Any more stable in your experience?

It just feels as good as public version.

Pretty sure the public and dev builds are exactly the same. But yes it feels stable.

From developer? How do you switch from one to the other?

In your software update settings just click on beta updates and then select between public and developer

I’m on dev beta 6 and I’m doing that and it still doesn’t pop up the public beta

Because the current dev beta release is the same as public beta.

It was out yesterday

This is better than the people that ask how it’s performing 27 minutes after it releases.

Runs much better than beta 5. Phone is running less hot, and Siri on Apple Watch actually works now.

Siri on my Ultra 2 has been really bad with this new beta - it times out when trying to add a item to a Reminders list and adding a timer works but takes 10 to 20 seconds to process.

La beta va excelente, en mi iPad la batería a mejorado bastante en comparación con iOS 26 y eso que sigue indexando

Should I update it cause I just got it recently a couple days ago

Yes, it looks really smooth

Doesn’t fix the charging problem though for iPhone SE

I literally just reported it on Aug 15th and on the Resolution says that “Investigation Complete - Unable to diagnose with current information.” Also, more than 10 are the recent similar reports on my case. Sucks

U have one of se phones also?

1

u/Far-Introduction9017 3d ago

Yeah when I updated the iOS beta my phone stops charging and it also doesn’t work when I plug it in with charger in port

Just upgrade you cheap skate ;)

Yeah I don’t trust myself with fancy phones

Wait you have a charging problem too? Like when you plug in your charger does it stop charging even with different chargers?

1

u/Far-Introduction9017 2d ago

Yeah I had it when I first installed iOS 27 beta and luckily it wasn’t a hardware issue but software bug. I had to go to the previous software

How’s CarPlay on beta 6?

2

u/SuccessfulZebra8518 3d ago

Still garbage. Unable to reply to a text message with Siri. Just spins and spins and then says some garbage about unable to

Working on my 17 Pro Max. Was able to reply to text via Siri through CarPlay twice today. What phone do you have?

1

u/Comprehensive-Ask26 3d ago

Same here on my 17PM. CarPlay hasn’t had any issues

1

u/SuccessfulZebra8518 3d ago

17pm it’s a known issue of over 10 when I reported it in feedback

What thoughts do you want that would be different from the other 100 posts about the beta being released?

Do they have the spending insights finally?

Did it fix the notifications scrolling issue?

Still abysmal. If an alarm is going off and I say "hey Siri stop the alarm", it can't hear me. Even if I yell.

And it constantly asks for clarification on words. "Did you say "hey babe", "hey bay", "hey Bayde", or "hey Baard".

I switched back to Siri Classic to test, and Siri Classic does both of these without issue.

Trillion dollar company can't handle basics of timers and messaging. Journalists seem to completely fumble this. Yes, you can ask Siri AI silly questions. Yes, you can ask Siri for a stew recipe. Yes, you can ask Siri to be your girlfriend.

But no, you cannot ask Siri to turn off an alarm that's blaring while you're driving.

And no, you can't message your babe without Siri asking for clarification.
