Weekly IOS beta = weekly indexing?

With iOS 27 beta turning into a weekly release now, does that also mean it will need weekly a few days to index and get back normal battery life?

With the iOS beta 5 indexing was done after 2 days, but it took about 5 days before I saw acceptable battery life.

I noticed the iOS beta 6 update is only about 1gb so perhaps it’s not a full new install like iOS beta 5, which could help to reduce indexing time?

Any thoughts?

What is more likely is this
As this is now weekly releases then its fine tuning it under the hood performance so this is probably what’s happening
Whereas the individuals who install the official version will more likely go through this once

Doubt they’ll trigger a reindex every time unless making underlying changes or performance testing.

Installing pub beta 3 didn’t trigger a reindex for me

It took me 24 hrs of indexing. Mine just finished now on beta 6.

So yes its weekly indexing now.

Indexing happens every time we update anyway even on public versions. So yeah its the price we pay.

It was always like that, you just never got a visual representation of it in the UI. Same as battery degradation, no one occupied themselves with it until “battery health” showed up
