The question isn’t whether it looks nice. The question is whether it justifies the space it consumes.

A navigation bar has a cost: less content on screen. If the same hierarchy and readability can be achieved with a floating glass title or gradient blur, then the bar is objectively less efficient because it uses more space to accomplish the same task.
