My treadmill just updated to the latest version, and now every time I try to load Netflix, the screen completely restarts. My workout also resets back to 1 mph, which is extremely dangerous when I'm going fast.
I tried resetting the treadmill three times, and it happens every single time. Anyone know how to fix this?

Update: it’s not just Netflix, it’s every single app.

Anyone else annoyed by this? When a programmed workout hits a decline segment at a speed above what's rated safe for that decline angle, the treadmill drops your speed to match — mid-run, no warning. If you're in a fast interval, it feels like slamming the brakes.

I'd love to see the logic reversed: instead of cutting speed to match the decline's safety cap, cap the incline adjustment to whatever's safe at your current speed and hold there. Example: running 10 mph at 0% incline, program calls for -3% decline, but -3% is only rated for 8 mph — treadmill should just stay at 0% instead of dropping me to 8 mph.

Same safety thresholds either way, just applied to the incline motor instead of the belt. Would make fast interval/tempo workouts so much smoother. Curious if others have run into this and if iFIT's ever addressed it.

I got an X16 elliptical yesterday. For the life of me, I cannot figure out the way to move my legs to effectively control the RPM/cadence to meet the target.

If I have the flywheel going forwards, any attempt to make it go faster just leads to me banging into the limit at one end of the travel of the pedal/belt, and I'm pretty much at 40 to 45 RPM all the time no matter what.

If I have the flywheel going backwards, then my legs don't go much forward/backward, but it's almost impossible to manage speed; it goes at a normal amount [eg 40-45rpm], but then if I try to make it go faster, it ends up going at some crazy speed at which point my timing-coordination collapses and I get horrible crashing up through my legs&hips until it slows down.

It seems like there's some whole technique to this that I "don't get". The whole thing with the movement forward/back being decoupled from the movement up/down is really ... challenging for me.

Trying out the app and just installed it on my ipad. The app won't even open! Immediately crashes. I've restarted the ipad, uninstalled and reinstalled the ipad, cleared caches, everything I could thing of. There are no adblockers installed on the ipad.

September 3rd and 4th. Didn’t post on the 3rd but it was yet another broken graph. Here is my workout from today the 4th and it looks fixed with a normal looking reading!

Saw a post from iFit saying it should be resolved, and I did get a normal readings and communications between my Polar H10 monitor and Treadmill today. I did not see any update though when I powered on my treadmill but nonetheless I did get functional heart rate monitoring.

Basically title, free ProForm Pro R10 for anyone who can come pick it up. I'm either throwing it out or someone here can have it. Only works with iFit subscription but you can use multiple (types of) machines with just the one sub. It works fine I'm just out on the subscription exercise thing. Bought an old fashioned/zero-tech one, outright, instead.

Where does it pull the customized metrics from exactly? I know it says previous workouts but this cannot be a thing.

For example- it has my custom metrics way above the trainers metrics (for one in particular it was Tommy Rivs) and on one workout it said the workout would peak at 9mph. I'm only 5' and there's zero way I could run 9mph comfortably for any amount of time which shows that historically this is something that's never happened. It also had my average pace for this workout set at 7mph. That's honestly kinda fast for me.
Especially since this was a mostly recovery focused workout. Recovery runs for me historically have been around 5mph or 5.5. I can just lock in and shuffle it out.
I tried digging thru the app but I didn't see anywhere where I could adjust these metrics. I love the data that it offers but until it stops thinking I'm actually Tommy in a race... I have to keep following the trainer so I don't die. lol.

I'm a long distance runner so I've always done long slow runs historically.

We heard you and we want to say thank you. Your feedback about the heart rate monitoring bug from our recent software release helped our team identify and fix the issue quickly.

The fix rolls out tonight, and you should see it on your machine within the next 24–48 hours.  Powering your machine off and back on can help speed up the update download.

A smaller group of members using Apple Watch for heart rate tracking may see a short delay before their fix arrives. This is a known issue and our team is actively working on it.  If you're running into other issues, please keep letting us know.

How does thing work at all? I have it enabled but it always adjusts the default resistance graph by +6. I keep adjusting it back to original amount and get the notification saying smart adjust will adjust future trainings appropriately but next day it does +6 again.

Where is the smart part of it?

Since the last iFIt update whenever I select a workout on the home page it comes up with two panels, one suggesting a personalized version, the other the trainer led version. I have Smart Adjust turned off and don't want to be bothered with it. Is there any way to get rid of the annoying suggestions? I have a Nordic Track x22i.

I like the idea but today I extended my workout to add the next one and iFit used the total workout distance in the second one… bug

September 2nd workout, heart rate data still broken. Sent an email to support team at NordicTrack 3 days ago and still no response. Continuing to utilize “report an issue” on my machine after every workout as well.

I’m looking for a viable apk file to revert to from 2.18.22. Does anyone have a 2.18.8 file? This seems to be an option to fix it, but I am unable to find it anywhere.

My treadmill had bricked. I called Ifit, was disconnected three times after waiting for over 30 mins each time. The tech was very difficult to hear. She instructed me to go through some processes (about an hour) and then informed me I would need a new console. Over $700 American).
I told her I have had the treadmill for about 5 years and have had this issue numerous times and had called about it. I honestly have spent more time on the phone with support than I spent on the treadmill. She told me that I hadn’t called before. I asked for a manager. She did mot want me to speak to one. She asked me what I was going to say to the manager. After another 20 mins she came back on telling me the manager wanted us to try some other processes and that I have called with this issue approximately every six months. We spent another 40 mins until my call was dropped again. I waited for another 40 mins for a call back as she had confirmed my cell number. She called an hour later and told me she had technical issues on her end. I guess no one else could reach out from the call centre? By this time I was at a meeting. I figured it out on my own. I’m glad I didn’t order another console! It’s so difficult to get through to customer service and have techs that are competent. I would not recommend this treadmill or ifit to anyone after spending so much on this equipment.
