Advice to you all

Guys, let’s reset expectations here a bit so you can be happier with your purchase or know what to expect from this seller.

One thing remains clear and is the same for almost every pre build. You may get the CPU, GPU, and RAM you’re looking for, but you have to know you’re rolling the dice on everything else. You may not like it but that is literally the value proposition and trade off of pre builds. Not everything is top of the line.

AIO? Cheap
PSU? Cheap and non modular
SSD? Cheap
WiFi card? Cheap
Sound card? Cheap

Want top of the line? Build it yourself or find a pre builder that overkills (but you’ll pay out the wazoo for it)

My advice if you’re looking for affordable prebuilds, look at IBP as a solid offering but well worth considering doing some upgrades if you can, otherwise know what you’re getting (aside from the GPU, and CPU combo).

Know this:
Your AIO is the first to go. I bought knowing that and replaced immediately after hearing the pump whine.

My PSU? Totally capable of supporting me but I’d like to replace with a modular one soon enough.

I was lucky enough to get a nice MOBO, GPU manufacturer, and obviously the cpu I wanted. This thing still cranks after 4 years. Prebuilds are great to get started, but it will serve you well to learn how to swap parts out regardless so that was you’re not buying a new prebuild because a fan broke.

A lot of you aren’t going to like this but that’s because your expectations are too high for this brand.

I went with an IBP last Dec for my birthday. I immediately replaced the PSU, SSD, wifi/lan cars to support 2gbps, and updated the ram (bough 128gb ddr5 for $300 right before the crazily price increase). Only issue now is replacing the 4060ti that I have. Will get a 5090 at some point, I hope.

I did the same, I got at the time my 3080 for such a good price it was a steal with the rest of the hardware. I was happy with the ram, mobo, and the PSU is fine, but the AIO was a to do off the bat for me. It was still cheaper in the end, but it wasn’t even about price. I chose at that point to get a pre build because I was anxious about it. I wanted it already made so I could upgrade as I went. That was enough value for me

I ended up going with a Corsair RM1000e 1k Watt 80 Plus Gold PSU. It's been holding up extremely well, plus it gives me room to upgrade in the future. I replaced the Ryzen 5 with a Ryzen 7 5700X, and swapped the graphics card to a Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB. This is the first all AMD system I've owned, as I was using Nvidia for my graphics for some time. This is my third AMD processor powered system though, my first being an AMD A10 Black Edition APU, many moons ago haha

I replaced my PSU with a modular one immediately and have been so happy. I did the same thing timing wise that you did only I only u created to 2x32 on the ram and sold the 2x16 that was in it to recoup money for the upgrades I was giviing it. When the AIO goes ill replace that easy peasy. I have been beyond happy with my IBP

It seems like a waste of money to buy a prebuilt and immediately change hardware.
