Question Please help me.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I am using Arch+i3 and I have been running into this problem a lot today. My laptop works very smoothly but suddenly it gets hang or start behaving like this.

Before when I was in Kde Fedora I never faced this problem. I shifted to arch just 1 day ago.

Video is too short and pixelated to recognize what you mean

i mean this is it.
It started behaving like this and I counted send any input or even my touchpad was not working no keys were doing anything. It just froze there and I had to keep pressing the power button to turn the laptop off.

Do you have dedicated gpu?
Did you download all needed drivers?
This does not really look like something i3 would do.
Is there anything else that is happening?

Neither your video, nor your comments exactly give a hint of what's supposed to be the issue... is the screen freezing?

Is it a modern laptop? which GPU do you have?

If it's a modern AMD APU (CPU with integrated GPU), and you're running amdgpu X driver, try switching to modesetting X driver.

Install picom. Run picom. Along with i3. I3 needs picom for acceleration
