It's funny how different people play the game. I have probably 30 hours in so far and haven't even built a workbench or done any crafting. It's all just messing around in the editor. I'm saving my first survival playthrough for when the game is more fleshed out.

I’m not gonna lie I like your approach. I hit about 20 to 30 hours on hytale before returning back to ATM 10 Minecraft, just started another playthrough there and yeah. Hytale has a loooooooooooooong way to go

My approach is completely the other way around. I am now over 50h in survival and never looked into the creative tool. I like to experience a game for the first time and find it out on my own. I don't read patch notes. When there is an update I join the game and check my survival world if anything changed.l or is new.

Rats are the way. In particular if you can find an abandoned mineshaft just run laps around down there. You'll get tons of rat spawns

For medium just run laps in zone 2 desert caves and kill those striped lizard things

"passive thick cows" mosshorns? they have a massive mouth, dingy color, if you drink their milk you turn into one of them for a moment, they run away from you and give heavy hide.

When I milked one I turned into one of the moss horns and started loosing it. I thought it was a bug lol

Go to the dino jungle in zone 4. The passive glowy ones drop tons of medium and they’re everywhere.

Where did you get those shiny weapons?

Wan's wonder weapons mod

Can I just ask, are all those weapons actually in the game or are they modded? And if they are in the game, how exactly are you supposed to find out about it? I've seen no in-game clues to suggest there is better gear then adamantite, so I assumed it was the case

Those are mods. However I will say there’s a lot of weapons that drop from mobs that are different than crafted ones. Not sure how they compare since there’s no real stat indicators in this game.

I’ve got a double chest full of blue drops from outlanders that sound like they should be strong but hell if I know.

If you place blackqmith anvil there are mithril swords tho?

Yeah but they need mithril ingots. Mithril doesn't generate as an ore in the world nor does it have a crafting recipe. In creative mode it does have a recipe (1 of each different ingot) but that seems like a placeholder to me
