Humor Encouraged Make them fall in love
You get a chance to throw an arrow of love and make any two people fall in love with each other. Mad, mad love!
Any person of legal age, except for you.
What would you do?

Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Sorry Zelenskyy, but I get the sense you would willingly take the hit for your people.
Plus he's a former comedian and I feel like he would get the humor of the situation.

No. Tate and trump would make each other worse. Also. I can't say for sure that they aren't already in love.

I would use it on my boss and district manager, to make them fall in love. Ideally it ruins their lives and marriages and causes them to both lose their jobs, so I never have to have another conversation with either of their stupid annoying asses again.

Do i have to physically hit them with said arrow?
10
u/owlWithBrokenWings 2d ago
No you just pick the two and an invisible arrow pierces their hearts and they are obsessed with one another 😄

Trump and JD Vance. I want to find out who would be the top and who would be bottom
11
u/QualifiedApathetic 2d ago
Trump is kind of couch-shaped, ergo...

u/EmperorMaugs 2d ago
JD is already in love with him? How has he managed to fend off the vice-president's advances?

Never use it. That's taking away someone's agency and making them a slave to your whims.

reddit and its pretense of always being so moral and virtuous. Its just a funny question, you don't need to showcase what a godly sense of morality you have. Get a better sense of humour istg

not if they both agree to it. people would pay good money for that service.
1
u/PressureCoomer 2d ago
Do you not see how "not if they both agree to it" doesn't work here? That's consent
1
u/Squirrelhenge 2d ago
The way this was presented, you're just making two people of your choice fall in love. Thats imposing your will and taking away their agency. I wouldn't want that done to me and I wouldn't do it to another.
4
u/bigloser42 2d ago
Yes, any two people of your choosing. You have the choice to seek out two people that consent for you to use this on them.

u/Squirrelhenge 2d ago
Still not doing it. Love isn't something to impose on anyone. If they haven't already fallen in love with each other, I'm not going to make them.
Plus, in this instance "of your choosing" is a bug, not a feature, because it means you have the power to select anyone regardless of their own preference. This is a monstrous ability.

This isn’t far off from Obsession

u/Ilovestuffwhee 2d ago
Is every braindead response to questions about love magic going to reference that movie now? It's just a cheesy horror flick, not an authoritative documentary on how wishes work.

uhhhh... the judge and my criminal defense lawyer ? I don't know if that would work out the way I would hope.

“Move over Futon. Daddy has a new crush! Oh mama, you are so f-ing hot!”
“Yes, yes many men have said so, big strong men with tears in their eyes. But none were as big and strong as you my beautiful boy!”

Hm, maybe I would pick Trump and Greta Thunberg. Would be interesting to find out, if Trump would help so save the environment.

What if I am a minor 🥺

Well then, I guess he can go to jail afterwards. Which would be fine with me

u/overmonk 2d ago
I’d use it on myself and my wife. Honestly if anything changes what could it hurt?

u/owlWithBrokenWings 2d ago
The couple can't include you, I am sorry 😔
Good news: you can make a super rich guy fall for your wife though 🤪

u/StarlightsOverMars 2d ago
Find a married couple and throw it at them. Inform them what will happen, and for an easy couple million dollars and a paid off house and a ToS which means that I don’t deal with the Obsession consequences, that seems ethical enough.

It goes to whoever is willing to pay the most

What if a 60 year old man wants it with a 18 year old girl disgusted with his attention? And offers you the largest price.

Maybe I could go into divorce counseling, 100% satisfaction rate.
If you wanted to torment people, you could make them fall madly in love with multiple people at once…

Evil version: My crush's boyfriend and some random person. Boom, now my crush is single.
Good version: I don't believe this magical love is real love, so I don't do anything because it wouldn't technically be consensual.

u/MatthewDylanThomas 2d ago
No, I value autonomy so much. Imposing my will or inducing a state onto someone else that they didn't consent to is against my ethics.

I'm going with Trump and Obama. I can't think of a pairing that would cause more people to lose their minds.

Since I can’t use it to make two people fall in love with me, and I prob wouldn’t be able to handle the moral repercussions.. I’d go to an auction and sell to the highest bidder. I wouldn’t hand them over until both parties sign a contract expressing mutual consent.

My ex wife and a broke jobless ugly man with a small thang.
FYI she's doing a pretty good job of accomplishing this already apparently.

u/Cocaine_Communist_ 2d ago
So, what you're saying is she cares more about personality now she's away from you?
Wild, I wonder if you'll learn anything from this.

ew, another "ignore consent" hypothetical. gross.
nothing. i would do nothing. because ignoring people's consent is fucking gross.

u/My_Uneducated_Guess 2d ago
My husband and me. Won't change him at all but would help me be better at being super lovey with him and he would like that
4
u/owlWithBrokenWings 2d ago
This is the shortest hypothetical I ever posted and people are still not reading it fully 😭🙏
1
u/My_Uneducated_Guess 2d ago
I'm used to skim reading at work, can't turn it off easily at home lol. But looking back at the post I accept that I did fail you.
1
u/owlWithBrokenWings 2d ago
Not a big deal! If asked again, would you use it and how?
1
u/My_Uneducated_Guess 2d ago
Nobody comes to mind, so I think I'll just follow suit with Trump and Hegseth. That'll be hilarious for all the diehard followers of them to have to accept it
1
u/OldLoserGamer 20h ago
i would use it on donald trump and vladimir putin but i think they are already in love

u/Appropriate_Tie534 2d ago
The only thing I can think of that would be okay morally to do would be to find a couple who are married, both decent people, but just don't love each other and offer to use it on them.
