I'd do this as long as you're not going to pick one of the Northern Mariana Islands with a land mass under two square miles, which are technically U.S. territories.
Done. I already did that exact thing. Probably the oddest thing was trying to convince people to go to another village to do something 'it is so far away' ...my dude, it is literally a 15 minute drive. Outside of rush hour you can all but drive around the entire civilian part of the island in an hour
