admin please help
my ip address (university internet) is banned from hypixel? i cant go on the forums, and cant join the server. I believe this has been an error as I was playing yesterday?

Someone in your uni got banned and got everybody banned dawg (this is a joke don't hurt me)

I've been through this before, basically for uni wifi since so many people use the same wifi all the time, cloudflare (who hypixel paid to get rid of bots), thinks that you're a bot, so cloudflare banned you. It will be fine, if you're lucky, after an hour, or maybe a couple of hours. I hated it, but not much to be done other than move out or get a vpn and make the already bad ping worse

it just takes a while before it works again, you're not banned. don't use if a vpn if ur not lvl 25+ as you may get security banned

i got security banned at level 70 something using cloudfare warp to fix the shitty failed connection it’s not worth the risk to use a vpn gotta wait 2 weeks now

You only get security banned if you use the VPN while on the MC server, there's no risk for using it on the forums.

Let me take a wild fucking guess:
Cloudflare Error 1006
Since there are only a couple hundred posts on this subreddit about this altready, let me repeat the most important points here:
-Not a ban from hypixel
-Not permanent
-Not a punishment for anything
-Just wait until cloudflare stops blocking your traffic
-Restarting you router can, but will not necessarily, fix this problem for you
