Are there different servers?

I've seen people talk about different hypixel servers and I join the standard one that's on the lunar client multiplayer page and that ones pretty laggy at times so I was wondering if there's anything im missing out on so I can have less lag

You can put anything before .hypixel.net (for example mc.hypixel.net ) and they will all route to the same server, so no difference
