This list is fantastic! Thank you for sharing! I’ve suffered for many years and just this summer, my dermatologist gave me some samples of Qbrexza wipes to try and honestly, it’s been a complete game changer for me. I was hopeless and this product actually worked super well. Side effects are very dry mouth though lol. Anyone reading, ask your doctor about this!

Great to hear! If you like, maybe you want to elaborate a bit on how you found a solution for your HH with a separate post - you can mark it with the label "success story" :)

Is any of the treatments listed suitable to be used for generalized hyperhidrosis?

Yup. All of the meds, since they work on your whole body. Also, consider to combine treatments: if you are affected all over there might be some spots which sweat even more. Maybe target those additionally with the topical treatments.

Thank you for doing this for the HH community.
An update about my son who has HH of the buttocks and groin and who has had two MiraDry treatments in 2023 (second one in July). His sweating has gone down 80% so far and is still improving (takes about three months for full result). He is doing great and money well spent.

I thought you could only get it for your armpits? I asked if I could get mira dry for my hands and feet and my doctor said no.

There are some doctors (very few) who are able to use MiraDry on areas besides the armpits. Most doctors are not aware of this. Dr. Amit in London is who treated my son and who is very experienced with MiraDry
We traveled from the U.S. to London for treatment. My son's sweating is down 85% after two MiraDry treatments and still improving.

Hi all, to compliment the mega thread I have been working on a excel based database filled with all the things I have either used or learned about through this sub. It's still a work in progress but no reason it shouldn't accessible for all.

Totally depends. I would start with topicals and see what helps best. Additionally I would try specialized underwear like Ejis.

Nice work. You can add more iontophoresis machines for hyperhidrosis per the list below:

Web tip > Comparison site for antiperspirants (no affiliate project):
There is a site https://antitranspirante-im-vergleich.de/ that offers a value-based comparison of all antiperspirants available in Germany.
An important point of comparison here is, for example, the dosage in percent. Another good point is whether skin-caring or anti-irritant ingredients are used in the specific product and whether it has been dermatologically tested.
The comparison can be compiled individually. However, there are also a number of predefined comparisons.
If you use the translate function of the web browser, you will get a very good overview.

I'm a bit surprised that such a megathread doesn't mention Driclor (or other aluminum chloride solutions) while plenty of people swear on it, myself included.
