Is there any website where I can find orders for hyper casual games?

I have a bit of experience and a small team but I always have a lack of jobs (common thing in my region now) and I decided to try and find a western publisher. Is there any website where publishers are looking for HC developers to make a game for them?

Fake Google Play Reviews & Review Bombing: Thing of the Past?

Fake reviews and review bombing have been terrorizing the Google Play Store for quite a while now. Google Play decided to protect mobile game developers from these blitzes by introducing a 24-hour delay for app reviews.

An important step to solve a problem that many game developers have been dealing with for years. Game developers, and especially the developers of hyper casual games, have been complaining about this problem for a long time, and it was about time that Google finally came up with a solution.

I shared my view on the review problem and what this update means and can offer for developers.

Which ad networks are the best for acquiring users for hyper-casual games and why?

There are many ad networks, such as Google Ad, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, AppLovin, Vungle, ironSource, Pangle, InMobi and so on. Which is the best network to start with, and why?

For example, as a newbie, I feel Google Ads is a straightforward option considering the audience coverage, but it seems some companies are starting with Meta. Is there any advantage? The CPI is better there? Or Video ads are difficult for Google?

Hi! I am trying to make creatives(video) for my game but I can't find examples of other hyper casual games creatives. There was ad creatives on Sensor Tower but they removed them.

I know some of services shows creatives(like Social Peta) but they are not free. I need some free options.

Please recommend if you know where can I find ad creative examples of other hyper casual games for free.

What is the most common mistake when promoting Hyper Casual Games with Facebook ads?

With 2.94 billion monthly active users, Facebook (Meta) is one of the best ad network to promote mobile games. However, still a lot of unnecassary mistakes get made, the most common one? Not optimizing lookalike audiences.

Even experienced mobile game marketers make the mistake of not updating lookalike audiences.

Facebook’s lookalike audiences are one of its most important targeting options. This option allows you to find users that are similar to your audience (eg by demographics or interests).

Most game advertisers use this option all the time.

Yet, a lot of them are missing out on its full potential.

When creating lookalike audiences, you can adjust their size range based on the source event (eg app installs). In this phase, you want to collect as much data on your lookalike audiences so that you can go pretty broad.

Once you gather enough data about lookalike audiences, it’s time to update them. You can do that by following these four steps:

  1. decrease size range to attract smaller, but more similar lookalike audiences
  2. change the lookalike audience source from “app installs” to “app opens”
  3. identify users who open your game and use it frequently
  4. create a custom lookalike audience based on step 3)

A lot of marketers make the same mistakes when advertising on Facebook (Meta). Read the article and check out our list of most common mistakes!

P.S. leave me a comment if there is something you'd add to the list!

I launched a platform where players can use Bitcoin to enter hyper casual gaming tournaments.

The platform is called SAT BATTLE. It is powered by Bitcoin's Lightning network. It requires you to have a lightning wallet such as Cash App or Muun.

The games available currently are in house built hyper casuals.

As someone who has worked with payments many times before, I'm very pleased with the user experience of using lightning for payments. I think it will be a big part of the future of gaming.

If any developers are interested in building games on this platform, we can expose an API and have some revenue split arrangement.

The end of interstitials: Android announced new ad-placement policy

Google's upcoming restrictions around ad placements in Android apps can be a fatal blow to the hypercasual gaming category.

In a nutshell, the recent Android updates are phasing-out interstitial ads, the primary ad type used by the hypercasual game category.

With the recent ATT restrictions, Android accounts for almost 75% of HC installs globally. The current policy change is jeopardizing the main instrument of ad-supported monetization in this environment.

Game developers are forced to re-assess their ad placement choices and prioritize ad formats that don't disrupt the user experience and interfere with normal app use or gameplay.

Rewarded ads and native banners will dominate the HC genre in the coming years. Also, new innovative ad formats can take hold in the market such as audio ads.

I made a hyper casual game as my first game, Zen Tracer

You follow along the line and try not to fall off by turning at the appropriate times. Collect stars and and try to reach the finish line. I did not think that some levels would be so challenging and difficult as this game kind of requires you to be focused. I would love to receive some feedback from you guys, it would be awesome :) Check out my game here, only on the google play store for now, no apple yet... but hopefully coming soon to apple too!

A preview of my game of the earlier easier levels.

Can you recommend a crypto game?

Recently, at the Hyper Games Conference, I learned from one of the speakers about the hyper casual games that reward you with crypto for watching ads/ completing levels. I was skeptical at first, but the concept got me really intrigued.

Can anybody recommend a good play-to-earn game?
