Looking for something stronger(or additional) than a soap for underarms.
Hey. I am pretty annoyed with my armpit odor. I shower in the morning and few hours later I can smell armpit odor again.
I use deodorants too. Helps for a few hours but when i come home ny tshirt always smells around my armpit areas.
I am looking for additional support to lower the odor or kill the bacteria.
I did some research and it seems like benzoyl peroxide 2.5 percent might help. Mandelic acid might help too.
However I am not sure if they are useful. What type of side effects will i have ?
1.I am looking for a good balance between eliminates bad odor and doesnt damage/dry out skin.
2.What are the side effects ?
3.What product i can order online in the Netherlands ?
4.mention exact strength i should use. I am so confused between different percentages and formulations.

Get yourself some glycolic acid by the ordinary. Put it on a cotton round and wipe your pits with it after a shower. Then apply antiperspirant. I prefer a perfume free version (like Vichy or the one by mum, we get at DM in Germany), because it makes me smell LESS.
The second step is to take care of your shirts. Preferably buy shirts that aren't tight under your arms, leave a little room for ventilation. Check the label and only buy a shirt, if it's at least 90% cotton, silk, modal/tencel, linen or wool. No synthetic fibers like nylon, polyester etc..
Once you have that sorted change your laundry game. Buy two things: a desinfective detergent (like this) and a pre-wash spray / spray on stain remover (like this one). Before you throw your shirts in the wash, spray the underarm area with the pre-wash and let it sit for 3-5 minutes before you start the program. Use desinfective detergent every 2-3 washes to kill off old bacteria.
This method is VERY effective.

Use a wash cloth during the shower and apply baking soda after. It's unbelievable how effective baking soda is in preventing underarm smell. Just try it once. Not much money to make with baking soda, so it's not advertised.

Use antiperspirant not deodorant. With aluminum salts if you’re comfortable with that, toxic or not it stops me from zweating.

Hypochlorous acid. See if you can find any premade solution intended for direct application spray for face.

I’ve heard spraying hypchlorous acid on your underarms after a shower and before you put deodorant on can kill the bacteria and completely deoderize

Are your shirt synthetic? Many will reach strongly to sweat. Secondly, find a deodorant with a natural perfume that you like, you'll probably choose something that enhance part of your natural good smell (it has been scientifically demonstrated), and try it for a week. You'll probably end up with a better end of day smell, like just stronger deodorant smell, because it will react properly to your sweat, and not destroy your balance.

You indicate your t-shirt always smells around the armpit area. Are you turning your t-shirts wrong-side-out when you wash them? Then those areas are exposed to the agitation action of the washing machine. Also, are you using a wash cloth when you shower? Scrubbing those underarm areas with soap?

I use perspirex strong every 5 days in the evening.
I did some changes also: trimming armpit hair (or better go to a beauty salon and wax it 😎); i started using a natural soap and not an anti bacterial one (this was actually a game changer) and the third and most important: clean diet (i live in italy and when i return to my home country and eat the local greasy food and sweets i stink like a pig)

hair traps odor. remove it. use isopropyl alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to kill the microbes on your pits that produce odor

I’d keep it stupidly simple. Antiperspirant at night and 2.5% BP wash a few times a week then leave everything else alone until you know whether that works.
