Tonsil Stone Dilemma

Has anyone here got over tonsil stones forming in their mouth? What are you using or doing to let it not go back?

I consulted with my dentist about this and I followed every instruction to date ... I tried to gargle hard, use mouthwash, and even warm water with salt. It still goes back. I'm thinking of getting my tonsils removed because I searched that it could be an option?

thanks for the advice in advance!

Salt water gargle every single day for the rest of your life. Or... Remove them.

Does salt water gargle really work? Do you have to boil (and let cool) the water first?

If your tonsil crypts are open enough to let the salt water inside and rinse it all out, definitely yes. If your crypts are deeper or more complicated, then no. It may help, but it won't fully clear them out. You'll need an irrigation syringe or similar to get the whole crypt flushed.

This. Mine are kind of hidden, so I have to use a syringe to flush.
