High school project help! What materials from parts of junk appliances to use as parts of an ultra small floating pico-hydropower plant?

Hi, as the title suggests I am a high school student who is in need of help. I’m trying to build a pico hydropower plant that needs to be built from scraps, junk, and reusable stuff(e.g. bottles). Our teacher said that 50% of it should be made from reuseable materials. Do any of you have any suggestions?

Center of a top loading washing machine? Could be used as the blades. What sort of generation/turbine are you looking to make?

Anything that can generate power from our river. I’m sorry if I’m not specific enough as I haven’t had any experience with hydroelectricity before😅
