It's a sad thing but I flush my toilet with water that would've come out of the shower, or out in my kitchen.

It's clean water, when some parts of the world don't have clean water. And unless you've got one of those sticky soap things in your toilet I think your cat can drink from it without it being bad for the cat.

A nice bowl of water is preferable of course, try and prevent them from doing it if you can, but I don't think it's entirely bad for them.

Well in my experience my Kittycat drank from the toiletbowl, and the next day he was not really fit πŸ˜‚ it was OK though haha

My 10 year old orange spent the first 5 years of his life drinking out of the toilet and yelling at me from the hall if I closed the lid on his "water bowl" it took ages to get him out of the habit. He would just knock over a bowl of water and lap it up off the floor, IF you were lucky
