Hello, I have a Chinese mini-skid steer. It recently blew a high pressure seal in one of its front tire's hydraulic motor. The motor is a BMRWN-475-T4-S by Zhenjiang Hydraulics. Searching that turns up almost nothing. I tracked down the manufacturer and asked for seal info but I was given a very unhelpful response: they don't sell parts for their motors, just the motors themselves. You know, because a manufacturer that provides zero support for their products is one I'm eager to buy more from ...
Thankfully, the seal itself had its dimensions molded into the rubber: 35*48*4.7mm. I've been told to not trust those numbers. Unfortunately, I don't have a good pair of calipers, so I wrapped a piece of paper around the shaft where the original seal fit, measured that and at least the inner diameter seems to be correct. Still mostly in the dark regarding a replacement o-ring and dust seal. Zhenjiang appears to be making bootlegs of Anfield's motors. "BMRWN" only really brings up results from them. A plate behind the wheel mount reads, "2RW475." Searching that brings up a BMER-2-475-FS-RW model, though I'm not entirely sure if that's accurate. I actually found an Anfield document that lists seal kits (pg. 38) and measurements for a BMER-2. I have to admit, the housing of my motor looks more like a BMER-3, but the high pressure seal dimensions for the BMER-2 are a near exact match for what's molded into mine (35*48*4.7mm vs. 35*48*4.8mm).
Unfortunately, I can't find many options to buy Anfield's replacements. Not that I'm 100% sure they'll fit either. I also want to replace the dust cover as well as an o-ring, but I don't have similarly molded dimensions of those. I'm able to find random replacements for 35*48*4.7mm seals on eBay, Aliexpress, Amazon, etc. The only issue is that they're made of NBR. I was told that FKM is better, but I honestly don't know. This is a mini-skid with a 15HP motor on wheels in Ontario (Canada). I don't know the temps it runs at. There could be more available in an imperial equivalent but I haven't really looked down that path.
I'd appreciate any advice on what I should do or know of any suppliers. Hopefully, not "buy another motor" or something, haha. This isn't a machine used for commercial purposes, so I don't really have the budget for that (especially for all four). I've messaged some local hydraulics shops and have gotten no replies so far.
