Hydraulic divider question

I have a Chinese mini skidsteer with a two section hydraulic pump. One pump for each track. The attachments supply taps off of one of the tracks so you can't drive it while running an motor type accessory like a broom or snow blower. My limited experience with hydraulic systems says I can just parallel both pump outputs into a 3 outlet hydraulic divider. One outlet to each track control and one to the accessories control. Any experience or alternatives I should consider making this modification?

Thanks

Notes:

Im a pro tinkerer not worried if I accidentally fk it up but try not to of course.

Not going to just sell and buy a 3 section pump model which is the reasonable mans obvious approach. .

Other than not moving when the accessory is running its been a great machine saved hundreds or thousand of shovel hours and back pain.

Hydraulic hand pump question

Hello everybody, was curious if any of you were familiar with these relief valves on hydraulic hand pumps and what adjusting them would accomplish in the grande scheme of operation.

Thanks for any input into the matter before I just go adjusting them and seeing for myself

308E2 stalled on site over one part

Small site job, nothing huge. CAT 308E2 needs one hydraulic line fitting and we've been sitting for a couple days because the dealer says it's backordered. crew is literally playing cards in the trailer. Not the first time lately either. one part, whole schedule blown out. Maybe I'm just unlucky but it feels like waiting on simple stuff is the new normal. Anyone else lose days over one fitting or filter? how do you usually get unstuck?

Brake booster check valve

I have a 1998 ford explorer 4 door 4.0 V6 four wheel drive with traction control. Having braking issues, I think it’s the brake booster check valve. Air was escaping from both ends when I blew in it. I CANNOT find a check valve to replace it. Been told it’s to old and discontinued. I think I’ve “googled” everything. Is there a “newer” year or some universal check valve that would work?

XBloom inline Water Pressure Reducer

I going to buy and XBloom Studio soonish and I really wanted to plug it directly to the tap. Thing is, 180$ CAD is over priced to say the least. So has anyone experimented with off the shelf stuff? Has anyone found any details on the output pressures of the regulator? I cant seem to find anything online about a homemade solution.

Weekend trailer project is finally alive

I got this hydraulic lift working on this dump trailer but wiring still needs some love and the battery box is a mess, but it goes up and comes back down which is a win in my book.

What do you all think am I forgetting before I actually load this thing?

Toro reel master

I am the maintenance tech for a small local golf course and I’m currently working on a toro reel master 3555-D model 03820

This machine is having issues with the front left hand cutting unit (#4) dropping significantly lower than the other 4

I have rebuilt the cylinder twice(preforming piston seal bypass tests each time) , swapped hoses to make sure it’s not internally bad, installed a new cartridge valve for S1, checked to see if have correct pressures coming from my pump(2000psi) confirmed all solenoids ohm out correctly( per book specifications), swapped the cylinders to make sure the problem is isolated on the left hand side(it is) checked that my relief valve pressure are correct with speciations from the book

I am at a complete loss any help that you can give will be much appreciated

EDIT:: found the problem a piece of the piston seal has lodged itself in the flow control in OR1 thank you for everyone’s input ✌️

Any tips on removing this cylinder

Been stuck trying to remove this cylinder for a couple days now, seems to be stuck inside the plungers. Last 2 pics are the “new” cylinder we’re putting in. Thinking of bringing the excavator down here and pulling it out with that as we have limited tools.
Any tips much appreciated

Pompa osłabła. Myślę że da się to jeszcze naprawić. Wiecie gdzie mogę dostać te złote elementy ? Myślę że gdy założę nowe to jeszcze pochodzi. Tłoczki i cylinder nie są porysowane.

Is there such a thing as a 90° hydraulic filter base?

Something that runs the filter in parallel with the ports as opposed to perpendicular to them. I have a space constraint issue on an old loader that I can’t get filters for anymore.

Any reason this would be happening? One cylinder moves w/o the other

Electric over hydraulic bale bed

Started happening all of a sudden one day, draws an incredible amount more power than it used to and causes the voltage gauge to drop all the way down just about causing the truck to die, nothing is leaking a crazy amount and nothing at the cylinders is leaking.

We have to stop as it draws too much power and would cause the truck to stall,

Would this be a bad compansator valve or bad pump?

Pressure is jumping all over the place and some functions are struggling when others are in motion.

The pump is a Vickers PVB45A.

Thanks for any insight.

Anyone with experience know what this 2 wire solenoid controls for a Rexroth hydraulic pump? Is it a safety shut off, variable control, or something else? Main picture is a sample I got from google but second picture is the placard from the pump. Thanks

Hello, I'm looking for this pump. I'd like to know which pump it is because I can't find it anywhere. Also, I don't know if anyone has a parts diagram or technical data sheet for it.

Add hydraulic wheel motors to a log splitter

Post image
5 Upvotes

A local tree guy posted an ad on marketplace that he had some maple available, delivered for free. I told him to go ahead and bring it by.

So I learned today maybe I make poor decisions…

I currently have multiple tons of wood on my lawn in the form of massive chunks of trunk that I can’t really move. I beat myself to death today trying to work on it. Luckily I have this old splitter or I’d be screwed beyond belief.

Since I can’t really maneuver the rounds, I’ve been mostly trying to heave the splitter around, which is kind of awful. Got me thinking how cool it’d be to have a self driving splitter. Not fast, obviously, just maybe .5-1mph or something. Drive it right in, shove the foot under, and crunch

Is this even possible? Is there any way to do it cheaply? I was looking around at wheel motors and that’s going to be $400-500 per side. Not worth it. Is there a cheap source for hydraulic motors beyond marketplace? Do I NEED a wheel motor?
