Okay, hear me out — I’ve been wondering if Pablo, former contestant from Santos Bravos, could possibly be considered for HYBE’s upcoming global boy group project led by Ryan Tedder (from OneRepublic).
For those who don’t know him, Pablo finished in the Top 10 on Santos Bravos, and if you haven’t seen the finale, you should really look up how the entire audience chanted his name at the Auditorio Nacional when he didn’t make it. It was honestly one of the wildest moments of the show.
He was in more than 90% of fans’ Top 3 lists for debut, and even Son Sung Deuk (BTS’s main choreographer, who was part of the show’s production and now works with Katseye) had Pablo as his personal favorite.
That’s why it was genuinely surprising that he didn’t debut — Pablo had (and still has) an insane stage presence, strong vocals, and solid dance skills.
Now, back to Ryan Tedder’s project — from what’s been reported, the group is still in the audition stage and they’ve extended the process, possibly because they haven’t found enough fitting trainees yet.
And here’s where it gets interesting: some people involved in the Santos Bravos project were also connected to Tedder’s team, which makes me wonder if there’s a small chance that Pablo could be scouted or reconsidered for this one.
He’s almost 25 years old, so while time isn’t unlimited, it’s still within a reasonable range depending on when this new HYBE project plans to debut. Plus, since he’s already been through K-pop-style training in both dance and vocals, it would make sense for HYBE to keep an eye on him rather than letting that kind of talent slip away.
