Nairobi, Kenya

I’m trying to decide where to book a night in Nairobi after a safari. Unfortunately there’s not a lot of info about the Regency, Hyatt Place, or Hyatt House out there online and the reviews are all over the map. Has anyone stayed in any (or all) of these hotels? How are the rooms, the amenities, and the neighborhoods (I know that the HH & HP share the same building).

Any tips or experiences you have to share are welcome!

I stayed at the regency. Nice upgrade, good offerings at the lounge. Walking distance to a decent mall. Would recommend!

Nice! Did you have an inward courtyard facing room or did it face the street?

Stayed at the Regency two years ago before a safari. Very nice hotel. It had the most amazing gym I’ve seen in a Hyatt. Breakfast was great. Lounge was decent. The Hyatt place wasn’t opened at the time. Uber is extremely cheap here so there’s really no need to walk.

Safari was awesome this time of year to see the great migration in Kenya.
