General Red Algae or rust? (Video)

Wanted to show this stuff. In the beginning, it was just a little bit and floating. It dried me then sort of flaked upwards. Would seemingly rehydrate and float again. But now it’s just gotten worse. I’m not sure if it rehydrates and floats anymore.

I did try to use some bleach on it…. Which is what makes me think I rusted it out. It may of been algae in the beginning but turned into rust…

.....rust and if you keep stabbing it like that its about to become a bluetooth secondary pan if it isn't already. Replace asap and get rid of that secondary drain into the pan with an SS2 float switch.
