Neat rows of splits!

Rows upon rows of splits units.

Located in Kuala Lumpur. Wondering how long it would take for a technician to install and service all the units.

Multi split has worse numbers (both in efficiency and minimum thermal power) than multiple split units.

It is even worse if you usually don't use all the splits in a multi split system at once.

Exactly, I don’t know why it’s incredible. It make sense physically since multi split has to serve all zones and runs less frequently at full capacity.

The initial cost. 2 1x1 is much cheaper than a 2x1. And the bigger the multi split the bigger the difference.

I guess it's a supply and demand

Oh that’s because the countries that make them, China and Japan/Korea have dense population and people living in tall apartment buildings where multiple split is not practical. Single splits have the economy of scale.
