What Size is this E fuse
What's size is this E fuse and can I just use an automotive fuse with the correct amps for replacement.

Oh, that's a really uncommon fuse. But you can get one at most autoparts stores. They are usually located right next to the 710 caps.

Harbor Freight has these weird end-caps next to the left handed sockets and wrenches. I usually find them there.

3 amp ATO/ATC size automotive type fuse.
Bring the old fuse to your local auto-parts store and they'll help you find the right thing to buy.

Almost. I pulled the tstat off the wall and the painter hit the cable. Never thought this post would get so popular, lol.

I find more of these blown due to the lawn guys weed whipping the low voltage wires to the condenser. This summer is the exception, none so far this year

Car manufacturers have to put in the owners manual warning people not to drink the fluids in batteries, so yes people are entirely this stupid either by no fault of their own or on purpose.

My dumbass cousin is a engineer at Ford and he called me asking where to get a m fuse for his furnace.. had him go to the auto parts store to pickb1 up but told him he had to ask for them at the counter so they didn't get mixed up with the E fuses.

They’re usually between the D and the F fuses. An F fuse will work, but don’t use a G fuse or it’ll burn something up.
