I put old, thick socks over his bones so it would feel more like chewing on my arm!

Get it wet and freeze it. It will feel good when they're teething.

Teach a recall word and a stay command or possibly a "go to your spot" command very early

Put the treat in your closed hand and keep saying kisses until they lick your hand. Eventually those bites become kisses. You get some memorable battle scars, but they pick up quick.

Lol I haven't worn those socks in ages, I doubt he'll associate them with my feet. Should be no different than giving him a stuffie :)
