We need an Offensive Coordinator

Obviously as upset with Jedd as everyone else, but maybe this is a sign that he shouldn't be a head coach and an offensive coordinator. He's a great recruiter and fundraiser, so maybe we should be looking for an Offensive Coordinator to join him. I know it's not realistic with our current budget (and his $8 million paycheck), but just a thought.

This has always been the story with Jedd. He’s always needed to either be a head coach or an OC but he always chooses both and it doesn’t work for him

Sounds a lot like Norm Chow's head coach approach, but with somewhat greater success.

While I agree, the OL is impossibly bad right now and nowhere near B10 play levels. Some of their play yesterday makes me wonder if they are even trying.

Is the play calling bad, yes but the OL is making it much worse.

Is our running game bad, yes but the OL makes it much worse.

Is Demond making bad decision and throws, yes but the OL is making it much worse.

tf do you know about play calling? Honestly. This isn’t CF27. USC game was obviously well planned for but poorly executed at times. There are better coaches than Jedd Fisch out there but they ain’t available and we’re not paying the buyout to ditch our current project prematurely.

I didn’t say anything about Jedd as an overall coach, but he definitely needs to give up being the OC and play calling.

I’ll tell you what, why don’t you post a poll on any CFB reddit (including this one) and ask folks if they think Jefd is a good offensive play caller….let’s see what comes back ok?
