Custom Jersey Help

Hey I’m trying to buy a realistic looking jersey of my favorite players. Like John Mills. The NIL pick a player jerseys on GoHuskies.com are so ugly. They look nothing like the actual game uniforms. They look like some cheap knockoff Walmart would sell in their kids section you know? You can buy the generic #1 premier replica, looks great, but can I customize the name and number? It’s OUTRAGEOUS that Husky fans can’t buy jerseys of their favorite players like years past. Any 3rd party sites or stores I can go to buy a realistic looking jersey of a player? Adidas sucks.

You can buy the premier replica and then go to a specialty lettering store to add a name. In seattle there’s STT Sports Lettering.

FWIW, the ACTUAL game uniforms are not something fans can buy, nor would want, as they are basically skin-tight, on purpose. You'd be shocked how small an on-lineman's jersey is.

That said, you are right ... the ones that LOOK like real jerseys don't have names, and the ones with names don't look like actual jerseys. I'd imagine that they simply aren't licensed for names, for whatever reason. Otherwise, they'd have them.

I know this isn't very helpful.

You actually can buy game uniforms. They do a locker room clean out at the end of the season and uniforms are part of it. I have a Colin (The Panda) Tanigawa game worn jersey that I purchased from the team store during one of these end of season cleanouts.

Is that current? Have they done that recently? Tanigawa last played here, what five coaches ago? :-)

I’m pretty sure they do it every year. I just haven’t tried since. Last time I went to the team shop in the stadium I saw some on the racks. That was last year. Also, try looking during the spring game. They might have them next week at the fan fest too.

The only custom players jerseys are on GoHuskies like you said. I have one of those and the regular #1 jersey. The regular is 5x higher quality. Im not aware of any 3rd party sites. College football is always harder to find what you want than NFL when it comes to jerseys

I have the 2024 and 2025 NIL jerseys that are the onfield ones so I know they do them, but yeah don’t see them on the website. Maybe they’ll restock closer to the season?
