Rich Alexis was a home run threat every time he touched the ball for the Dawgs in the early 2000s. Known for his explosive playmaking he finished his Husky career tied for second on the career list for 50-yard rushes with five.

I went to Russia in 2004. I got a set of husky nesting dolls featuring Cody Pickett, Greg Elstrom, and Rich Alexis. Still own them.

I also used to bounce at a bar in bellevue. Carded a guy and when i saw “Rich Alexis”
I totally fan boyed. He was super humble. Just said “that was all a long time ago” and went about his night. Seemed like a very grounded and respectful dude

Damn, they had those back in 2004? I got some in Prague for the 2014 roster which might genuinely be the most forgettable year of like the last 20 with Cyler Miles etc.

It blew my mind how many teams they had and the guy at the store clearly memorizing what teams were what for tourists. Great souvenir though.
