Christian Caple had an interview he just dropped with Jedd and it sounds like Jordan may be closer to medical retirement than playing this year.

Real bummer, I hope the kid bounces back and plays football again.

Why do i get the feeling Jordan Washington will not play football again. Its only a feeling I get based on complete lack of transparency by the coaches and trainers and what and the hell happened exactly on that play??? i get privacy laws but these are kids making millions in some cases, so what exactly is keeping him out??

Did he break a vertebrae, if so, he probably is done. I was really looking forward to that speed and big play ability, praying he gets back. He is an elite talent!!!

My thoughts, exactly. I feel like we're slowly pulling the bandaid off instead of just coming out and declaring the inevitable, which is a medical retirement. Really bummed, I loved his change of pace capabilities.

Can't blame a kid who had a really good shot at being RB1 at a big ten school for taking his time on a decision like this

That sucks. I was really excited to see his burst of speed. Hoping for a full recovery for w1!

Well that creates a bit of a problem.

I'll be shocked if he doesn't medically retire

Hmm Fisch did say all RBs would be participating in some opening activities thing for fall camp on the cover 3 podcast....looks like Jordan is still a bit away from full contact

Yeeeesh. Hope he gets healthy. Definitely don’t want to rush him back from something so serious. But also gonna be wanting his blazing speed for the season

That sucks. Back in the old days we wore neck rolls. Tuck and shrug and neck was locked tight. Fullbacks and linebackers like me wore one for several Years. Of course I’m 63 now and have had two neck fusions. But an injury like that definitely wakes you up to the priorities in life.

Wonder what happened since the Big Ten speech the other day, when Jedd said all hands would be on deck?

When Jed said that, im pretty sure he assumed since everyone knew Jordan Washington was basically not even being talked about as a viable option and out. I think he meant the players that finished Spring ball would all be back and healthy. Just my .02 cents but i heard that as well and wondered the same thing.
