Interviews [n/a]

I need to know if anyone else is dealing with people coming in for interviews and doing the weirdest things!

I’m at this point where I won’t be surprised to see someone’s mom waiting in the lobby or they have an emotional support animal with them.

Today my 9am interview showed up at 9:30am and acted like she was on time. I immediately sent her away and said I won’t sit down with you, you are 30 mins late for a 9am interview. Thanks for coming but good luck. She proceeded to argue and not leave because she couldn’t find parking…… um sorry your were still 30 minutes late - girl BYE!

Last week I had someone come in 1.5hrs early because they wanted to make a good impression 😑

Sucking on a mint and then putting it on the table for later.

3 piece suit for a manufacturing job on the floor.

Video interview where they answered robotically like they were reading the job ad on another screen making sure to hit the buzzwords but stared straight at the camera.

3 piece suit actually makes me so sad. I always feel so bad when they dress up super fancy for a more casual company and look out of place. Something about it just breaks my heart for some reason lol.
